About Me

I hail from the quaint town of Lawrence, KS but currently live in Houston, TX, where the weather is much much warmer! I received my BFA in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston. My creative journey took flight during my senior year when I interned as a graphic designer at Rice University's School of Engineering. Post-graduation, I swiftly stepped into the professional arena, securing a position at a marketing company where I further honed my craft. Today, I stand as the Creative Director for Chair King & Fortunoff Backyard Store.

 

As a graphic designer, I wield my passion to craft not just designs, but experiences. I enjoy the everyday creative problem solving and collaboration with different minds to bring ideas to fruition. With a 10-year journey as a graphic designer in the dynamic landscape of marketing, I've honed my skills to seamlessly merge artistry and strategy. My expertise extends beyond the digital canvas, encompassing large and small format printing, a keen eye for photography, and a knack for precision in color management.

In my spare time I love to travel with my partner, collecting moments and memories as we explore new horizons. My green thumb (sort of) finds solace in gardening. And with my faithful companion Walter by my side, I frequent dog parks and breweries, celebrating life's small pleasures amidst wagging tails and frothy pints.
